Daniel Berhanemeskel was born in Aksum, Ethiopia. After completing high school, he came to the US in 1999 to study art at Hope College, Holland, MI. He graduated from Hope College in 2003 in Art. In 2004, he went to Michigan State University to pursue Master Fine Arts (MFA) and graduated in 2007. Daniel lives and works in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
